PlacesToday ("we", "us", "our") operates placestoday.com and its country subdomains including portugal.placestoday.com. We are a travel discovery platform that provides AI-powered travel recommendations.
We collect minimal data: • Contact form submissions (name, email, message) when you reach out to us • Basic analytics data (page views, session duration) via anonymised analytics • Chatbot inputs (city, occasion, group type, budget, timing) — these are used only to generate your recommendations and are not stored against your identity We do not require account creation. We do not store personal profiles.
PlacesToday earns commissions through affiliate partnerships with Booking.com and GetYourGuide. When you click a booking link and complete a purchase, we may earn a commission. This does not affect the price you pay. We disclose all affiliate relationships.
We use essential cookies only — required for the website to function. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party marketing cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
Contact form data is used only to respond to your enquiry. It is not shared with third parties, not used for marketing, and deleted after 12 months. Chatbot inputs are processed by the Anthropic Claude API to generate recommendations. Anthropic\'s privacy policy applies to this processing. We do not store chatbot conversations.
